Look on the bright side…

During May I was hardly at home,

time was gone in a flash…

But nothing is as bad

as it looks.

Lovely memories of time spent

with friends,

laughter,

long walks,

beautiful flowers,

inpiring colors…

June was supposed to be a month for catching up,

ahem, not a bit of it…

Sometimes my priorities

don’t match life’s priorities,

if you know what I mean…

But, again,

it’s not as bad as it looks.

I finally started practising with rulers,

some “learning by doing” ahead of me -

and some fun, too, I enjoy trying new things.

This quilt is a pattern called Retro

from Weeks Ringle,

found in her “The Art of the Quilt” ,

a 2015 Activity Calender.

Another pouch, using Aneela Hoey’s pattern

Double Zip Box Pouch,

pretty in pink!

I may,

or may not

start something new.

We’ll see!

Until then,

have a lovely and creative time!

Your quilting is really beautiful. Love the pouch. I'm in a sewing "funk." I think I need to really try something new!
