First I want to thank everyone who made suggestions about the border on my quilt, they really helped me to decide! Great ideas! Now I know how I'm going to finish it, just have to wash the fabrics and get sewing! I'll show it very soon (I hope!) , so stay tuned!!
Since I haven't had a chance to participate in any swap (I would like to get some information about it!) and I'm a bit far from my 100 post for a giveaway, I took part of a PIF (Pay it foward) that Ulla started in her blog.
It is the Pay It Foward Exchange. It is based on the concept showed in the movie "Pay it Foward", were acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, hoping that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on.
Here is how it works : I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on the blog requesting to join the PIF exchange. I do not know what the gift will be yet, and it won't be sent this month, probably next month, but it will be sent within 6 months and that's a promise. What you have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.
If you got interested and want to join, here is your chance!
I have met so many nice people in blogland! I just want to help spread a little bit of joy, it is a way to say thanks, to show that blogging means a lot to me!
I wish you a nice Sunday and a great quilty kind of a week!
